Those aren't the words with which you want to head up a ladder to start painting a steeple or shingling a roof or cleaning the gutters. There are some better words close at hand: the warning label on the ladder. Wouldn't hurt to get a few pointers from someone who knows how to use a ladder properly, either. Take it from us, the average roof pitch doesn't match up with the recommended angle for a ladder. You aren't supposed to tie ladders together, either. Ladders are great tools, but they will get you down much faster than they got you up if you ignore the rules. |
