Add this technique to your list of “101 Uses for a Forklift.” Some of our coalition partners are prepping their armored vehicle for shipment home. The vehicle weighs in at around 10,000 lbs. The rated capacity of the forklift is 15,000 pounds.

“This is the best way to make sure all of the dirt is off the bottom before we ship it out of Afghanistan,“ they said.

“Best”? I wonder. And I wouldn’t stand underneath it, either.
