One of our contributors was taking a walking tour of Boston when he happened on this tableau. Workers were reshingling the roof on Paul Revere’s house, which is a national historic landmark and downtown Boston’s oldest building. Glad they are keeping it in repair. Not too glad that this is the technique. Fortunately, our contributor was ready to ride and spread the alarm to every Middlesex village and farm, and also to all viewers of the Photo of the Week. Note that the sidewalk beside the house is open to all pedestrians. Note the lack of fall protection, “unless they planned to grab onto the air gun hoses as they fell from the roof,” our contributor wrote. |
