Here’s the latest in our series of risky work practices, the spur-of-the-moment heavy-item holder, chosen almost at random from whatever is at hand. This one joins the ranks of the legendary Mayo-Jack, the “Why Women Live Longer than Men” automobile prop, the flimsy-stick giant rock prop, and the firewood-log jack stand.

We’re not saying don’t do it. We’re just saying not to get underneath it afterward.

Come to think about it, you probably shouldn’t do it, period.
