Just a sort of horizontal cherry-picker, really. Like a man-lift, except they just don’t market it as such. Plus it is more flexible, because you can’t dig a trench with a regular man-lift. It can go up and down, side to side.

You have to trust the guy at the controls, of course, but he’s usually paying attention and hardly ever makes mistakes.
