To some, minimizing physical stress for workers is the top priority, and everything else—productivity, safe operations, high-quality work—flows from there.

Fortunately, all of the equipment needed to provide a comfortable, low-stress work environment is usually lying around the workshop: sawhorses, lumber, a stray office chair. Whatever it takes. The key is the ability to stack, which really isn’t that hard. If you have enough pallets, the sky’s the limit.
